The Waffle House was established in 1978, and since then has continued to provide their customers with good honest food prepared from scratch using locally sourced, organic and free range ingredients.

The light and crispy waffles offer the perfect base for a selection of toppings, savoury or sweet. Equal emphasis is put on vegetarian, and vegan food. A low gluten and vegan waffle is also available.

Set in a listed Georgian building, we provide the perfect location for every occasion. Known for our relaxed friendly environment, welcoming families or more intimate diners at any time of day. Additional seating in the upstairs restaurant, with a seating capacity for up to 40 people, makes this an ideal setting for parties and events.

Of course it is not just waffles. we offer a comprehensive selection of organic beers, award winning ales and ethically sourced wines. Not to mention our famous handmade milkshakes, all complimented by fair- trade coffee.

  • I haven't visited in years but came along as they do vegan options now. The food was absolutely delicious especially the cherry Bakewell waffle which I could eat a hundred times over 😋. My vegan milkshake was also lush.
